Experience

Mathieu is Co-CIO and a Senior Portfolio Manager in the Multi-Asset investment business at NewAlpha AM.

Before joining New Alpha AM in 2019, Mathieu was Deputy Managing Director and co-founder of Darius Capital Partners SA, a management and consulting company specializing in alternative strategies for which he acted as Investment Manager.

He began his career in 1984 at JP Morgan in Brussels, as an Assistant Treasurer, seconded to the Euroclear Operations Center. From 1986 to 1990, he was a senior corporate debt trader at CSFB and Warburg Secs in London. Then, Mathieu was responsible for international bond trading at CCF (now HSBC France) between 1990 and 1994. He joined Lehman Brothers in London at Executive Director in 1997 and was then appointed Product Manager for Asia of international flow products, based in Tokyo up.

In 2000, he founded and chaired Trade Europa SAS, a software company specializing in decision-making for investment in European stocks.

Mathieu is a graduate of  the Solvay Business School, Brussels (Commercial Engineer).
