NewAlpha partners with Women For Sea to protect the marine environment

Paris, October 27, 2023 – With 13 million pleasure boaters and 1 million boats (+12,000 per year) in France, boating is a popular activity close to nature, which has a significant impact on marine ecosystems if not practiced sustainably.

Ocean biodiversity is crucial to our planet’s equilibrium, as marine ecosystems are home to an incredible variety of species, from colorful corals to the largest cetaceans.

That’s why NewAlpha is proud to have supported Women for Sea in this campaign to raise awareness of eco-navigation. These videos, whose content has been developed and certified by nautical and scientific experts, were produced in collaboration with the production company Black Whale Pictures, experienced in the maritime world and marketing campaigns.

The 6 video vignettes that NewAlpha publishes on its website are designed to inform, educate and change the behavior of every boater to ensure greater respect for the marine environment.

They address the following themes related to ecosystem protection:

– Responsible bunkering

– Fresh water management
